We hope these next few months will be a time of growth for you as a couple as you prepare to ask our Lord to join you together as husband and wife. Marriage PreparationCouples should contact their home parish at least six (6) months prior to the proposed wedding date.   A meeting should be scheduled with a Priest or Deacon and couples should bring their sacramental documents to this meeting. After this initial meeting, the couple can contact our Wedding Coordinator to discuss dates and times open for booking.Weddings are held on weekdays at 3:00 PM (if available).Saturdays at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.There are no ceremonies on Sundays.Ceremonies are booked on a first-come/first-served basis.We look forward to hearing from you to help you plan and prepare your wedding ceremony.Ceremony Contact:Ruth Hernandez – (210) 227-1297 ext. 132email: ceremonies@sfcathedral.org Church Usage FeeThe Cathedral fee is $2200.00.  This fee helps cover the costs associated with maintaining the historic San Fernando Cathedral.  This fee does not cover the musician fee.  An approved musician must be coordinated with our Music Coordinator – Maria Alicia Lopez.   You can reach her at mlopez@sfcathedral.org.  Holy Orders From the moment of Jesus' conception in the womb of Mary until his Resurrection, he was filled with the Holy Spirit.  In biblical language, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit and thus established by God the Father as our high priest. As Risen Lord, he remains our high priest. . . . While all the baptized share in Christ's priesthood, the ministerial priesthood shares this through the Sacrament of Holy Orders in a special way.
